Introduction

Fellside is a single storey log cabin. It is accessed via 3 steps. Guests cars can be driven right up to the cabin and they have exclusive access to this space. The land immediately around the cabin is flat.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

• The barrier at the entrance to Burnside Park is always open
• There is a tarmac driveway to the cabin
• There are no speed ramps
• Parking is available adjacent to the cabin.
• There are no kerbs to negotiate
• The cabin is signposted & tactile
• The parking area is flat and surfaced with compressed gravel
• The space available allows car doors to be opened wide
• There is an external light next to the car park area
• There are 3 steps into the cabin. These are shallow and wide. There is a hand rail

Main Entrance

• The entrance is adjacent to the car park space for the cabin.
• The key to the cabin is available in the key safe at the foor of the steps
• There is seating available on the balcony
• The cabin is available from 3:00PM on the day of arrival

General

• The lounge and bedroom floors are carpeted
• The kitchen and bathroom have linoleum floors
• There are no internal steps
• Teletext is available on the television
• The lighting throughout the cabin is bright
• The heating system is electric and available by the flick of a switch

Bedroom

• Standard size double bed with access from either side
• Convenient seating at dressing table
• There are reading lights also available in the bedroom

Toilet

• The toilet is accessible via either the kitchen or bedroom. There is no restriction to access

Bathroom

• Ensuite facility. The bathroom is large enough to use as a dressing room
• There is a full sized bath with a shower over
• The water is controlled by a thermostatic valve

Self-Catering Kitchen

• There are no internal steps
• The water is controlled by a thermostat
• The appliances are easily accessible
• The kettle is cordless
